Why study this subject:

The Applied Science course takes a practical, career-focused approach to studying science by combining coursework, practical assessments, and exams. The course covers a diverse range of subjects within science, including biology, chemistry, and physics. An Applied Science qualification is a stepping stone to a variety of further education options and career paths.  University courses include biomedical science, forensic science, pharmaceutical science and health sciences eg. nursing and public health.  Possible career options include laboratory technician, healthcare science assistant including roles in pathology labs and diagnostic imaging, quality control technician and research assistant.
