Work Experience

All students in Year 10 undertake a one-week work experience placement during their Summer term. Work Experience is intended to enable students to gain experience of the world of work. Students are encouraged to find their own placements but are supported by the Careers Adviser.

 Aims of Work Experience

• To enable students to appreciate the demands, priorities, disciplines and relationships found in the world of employment.
• For students to develop self-confidence and self-discipline while working with adults.
• To experience the difference in the working and school environment. 
• To help students to see the relevance of school subjects to the world of work.

Year 10 Work Experience dates for 2025 - Monday 14^th July - Friday 18^th July 2025.
