Raising aspirations - releasing potential

A level Results 2017

Blackfen School’s sixth form students have achieved a 100% pass rate at A2 this year. The results produced by the students are the school’s best ever results. Over 42% of the grades awarded were at A*-B with 82% at A*-C.

Head Teacher, Matthew Brown, commented, “I am delighted with the re-sults achieved by 6th form students at Blackfen. Congratulations to all students at the school. At a time of great changes to the examination systems our students have worked extremely hard and I am very proud of their achievements. All students have been highly committed to their studies over the last two years. The grades have enabled students to gain places at University or to gain places on high level training schemes and apprenticeships. The results achieved are testament to the hard work and support from all staff in the school working in partnership with parents/carers. I wish all the students every success in the future.”
